Aviation American Gin

Not a huge gin drinker, but thought I'd give this a try thanks to a recommendation. A very smooth gin with the juniper backbone. I honestly feel this is like the Absolut of gin. It is very clean and works great in a martini, but doesn't have enough character to be a sipper.

Anise and juniper stand out. Clean and refreshing. Great neat, solid with tonic, and adds a new twist to a classic martini.

More floral with a little spice. Drinking neat the lavender and root botanicals come out.

There is an odd spice to it. Definitely need a mixer.
