Aviation American Gin

An intense, gin by Lee Medoff, Christian Krogstad & mixologist Ryan Magarian for House Spirits in Portland, Oregon distilled from rye. It has a rich & spicy birth with notes of juniper, cardamom infused milk, hints of smoke, freshly cut grass, lavender, coriander, sweet orange, caraway, anise & pepper; while an oily life adds notes of rye, spice, floral lavender, anise, juniper & dried orange peel; that leads to a lightly sweet & clean finish with notes of citrus pith, peppery spice & lite smokiness. Pretty good, bit a little weak in a tonic.
