Bahnbrëcker Slow River Blend Hefeweizen Whiskey

Tastes like an old fashioned in a bottle. Banana bread, spice, nutmeg, sweet but not too sweet. A great dessert sipper for a great value. Definitely unique and not for everyone.

Rich, sweet, medicinal on the nose and light finish

Great whisky. Smooth and light. Cloves and some spice up front with some lemon coming in after initial sip and a strong banana flavor on the backend. Really nice dram.

Decent blend that is enhanced by the lemon peel and cloves. Not particularly complex, but quite tasty and easy drinking. The base whiskeys are soft, with light vanilla, mild tannins, and a nice cherry note. Very floral nose. The flavors come through nicely even when cooked (used it in cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving). Not usually a fan of flavored spirits (or liqueurs), but this whiskey is very pleasant, and is perfectly executed. I think they produced exactly the spirit they were shooting for.

Not a typical whiskey. Banana chips and orange peel on the nose. Coats the mouth on the taste well, no burn at all. Lingers on the tongue with a sweet long aftertaste.

Very smooth and unique. Starts with a banana taste but finishes with more typical hints of vanilla and maybe a little caramel. One of my new favs
