This is like drinking a campfire....sometimes. I've had two bottles of Brimstone. The first was extremely smokey and very good. I remember it being fairly smooth but not overly sweet. The smoke was at the forefront of everything. The second bottle which I have had about half of is not quite as smokey and it bites more than the first bottle did. Still enjoyable but the novelty of the dense smoke flavor is not as prevalent.
Smoke and campfire with an intense alcohol burn. cinnamon and anise underneath. Lingering numbness on lips and tongue. Definitely a unique whiskey. Would have rated higher but it ruined my pallet for over an hour (everything tasted like plastic)
