Tasting Notes
"The aroma is intense with sweet flavors of vanilla, maple pecans and the crispy edges of chocolate chip cookies. Naturally, there is a lot of sherry influence here as well which comes through with pleasant nutty and oxidized fruity notes. At bottle strength you'll find it to be a little hot and prickly, but adding just a splash of cool water mellows that out. This is definitely a whisky for sherry lovers, but don't expect an overly sweet experience. The malted flavors pull through in the end adding balance to the finish."
