Balcones Texas Pot Still Bourbon

Bourbon in the front, single malt in the back.

I get some spiced apple, heavy notes of vanilla, mild honey and leather. The finish is quite dry for a bourbon, leaving notes of wood char, oak, and a light smoke. the finish is also short to medium length. I liked this whiskey!

Maple syrup and vanilla

Aromas of cherry. Wood and corn. Flavors are about the same. Corn cob making up more flavor than the kernel. I had hoped for better because I’ve liked everything else Balcones I’ve had.
