First impression, benchmarked vs h mckenna 10 yr bib. This is disgusting. Why do all American distilleries always make single malt that tastes like auchentoshan?

Nose: Lemon cake, ripe blackberry jam, shoe polish, and vanilla
Palate: warm butter toast with baking spice and tobacco
Finish: warm with notes of barrel spice, tobacco, and butter
Marvelous whisky with unique flavors that scream “Texas” but do not leave a scotch lover wanting.
