Nose - light alcohol burn, medium honey with a floral note in the background, slight sweet like maple syrup
Taste - medium alcohol heat, slight spicy finish but with small sweet note combines into like a cinnamon/apple pie vibe
Color is amber. Nose is butterscotch and molasses, entry is more of the same with spice, candied fruit and nuts (think fruit cake) and a touch of salt. Body is rich and full. Finish is spice and malt with hints of root beer. This may be a 100% single malt, but ti is like no other single malt, Scotch or Irish, I have ever tasted. It is definitely different and intriguing and very good.
More bourbon like than I thought it was going to be. Lots of vanilla and brown sugar. Almost like a maple syrup kind of flavor. Would have been a little better if it was less sweet.
