The Gray Label limited edition series from Barrell Craft Spirits features older and rare barrels. Conversely, their Dovetail series features a blend of whiskeys finished in rum, port, and Dunn Vineyards cabernet sauvignon barrels.
This bottling combines these two concepts in one with the whiskeys (distilled in Indiana, Tennessee and Canada) blended and aged up to 20 years. Then the blend was finished in the aforementioned barrels before bottling at cask strength.

Tasting Notes
"The complex nose is reminiscent of peach saltwater taffy mixed with a hint of espresso, sweet spices (especially nutmeg), and pinecone. The palate has a lot going on: rich flavors of caramel, milk chocolate, and mocha mix with orchard fruit notes, roasted cocktail nuts, and loads of baking spice. The backpalate has a pleasant roastiness, with a finish akin to butterscotch. "
