Tasting Notes
"The nose is an enticing mix of fresh, dark cherry aromas with vanilla, allspice, and a hint of leather. The palate is rich and roasty, with flavors of roasted peanuts and buttery caramel. A refreshing burst of tart cherry flavor breaks up the richness on the midpalate, while peppery and sweet spices wake up the sides of the mouth. As expected with the proof, it is slightly hot in the finish with a pervasive charred oakiness, though it retains its richness on the palate. "
