Barrell Seagrass

A complex, Blended Cask Strength Rye Whiskey by Barrell Craft Spirits; that is a blend of American & Canadian rye whiskeys, with each ingredient meticulously sourced and finished separately in Martinique Rhum, Madeira & apricot brandy barrels before being bottled at 59.56% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains, wood, earth, fruits, flowers, nuts, herbs & spices; while a rich & spicy life adds notes of rye, apricot, white grapefruit, honeydew melon, lychee, mandarin orange, pear, plum, elderflower, honeysuckle, rosehip, rosemary & vanilla; that led to a complex & slightly woody death of medium length with notes of oak, cinnamon, fennel, ginger, tarragon, camphor, chalk & sea spray.

Nose: Fruity, Sweet, how fruity candy smelt as a child. I can’t help but smile when I smell it. Envokes childhood memories of playing under the shade of our maple tree on a sunny day. Palate: Hot Fruity explosion. First bottle I bought for myself but I first tried it from the bottle I gifted to my very close friend. Maybe its bias I like it so much. Maybe its just a good bottle.
