The aromatic italia grape belongs to Europe's ancient muscat family, contributing signature floral, citrus and grape flavors to the final product. This pisco is rested for three months in steel tanks before being bottled.
PiscoBrandy distilled from grapes and produced in either Peru or Chile. In Peru, there are eight allowable grapes and in Chile, there are three. Peruvian Pisco is distilled only once in a pot-still and no wood aging is allowed. Peruvian pisco cannot have any alterations including dilution. Chilean pisco can be distilled multiple times, can be aged, and can be diluted prior to bottling.
"Delicately aromatic, with hints of roses, green almond, bergamot, and dried papaya, there is a good amout of complexity here to pick apart. Soft and delictate in the mouth, there is no perceptible alcohol heat, but the flavors are somewhat lifeless compared to the nose's considerable promise. An attractive leafiness emerges on the end. "
