This expression was rested for 148 days in a single mourvèdre red wine cask from Withers Winery in the Sierra Foothills of California. Only 288 bottles were in the release, offered at 117 proof.

Tasting Notes
"Juicy plums and cherries open on the nose, with oak, brown sugar, and baking spices. The palate is big and booming, with smoky char, cinnamon, spearmint, orange peel, and raisins. There's a mix of fruity, near savory and lightly acidic notes which walk a line of influence between vermouth and verjus. A length finish continues to unfold over time, with swirling sweetness, spice and oakiness giving you plenty to chew on."
