Reviewed July 11, 2020Best with a few drops of water, in my opinion. Tasty, but not super smooth without some dilution. -

Reviewed July 5, 2020 (edited July 22, 2020)I've had some fantastic bourbons before but this packs so much complexity and flavor into a glass I'm surprised the glass doesn't shatter immediately. I compared it to my Stagg Jr and found the Stagg thinner with more vanilla but the Belle has a robust cinnamon note. Call the dos equis guy because this is the most interesting bourbon in the world. -

Reviewed July 4, 2020 (edited July 25, 2020)Interesting nose. Lots of spice, plums and dark fruits, cinnamon and apple. Cereal. Brine and grass. Maple syrup and caramel. Sweet on the palate. Sugary dull apples. Little light and not super full-bodies. Medium finish with minimal heat. Great juice. I use the rating scale below. Distiller uses a scale of 5 and I use a scale of 10, but I’m sure you’re not too drunk to do the math! 1. Disgusting - So bad I poured it out. 2. Poor - I wouldn't consume by choice. 3. Bad - Multiple flaws. 4. Below average - Not bad, but many things I'd rather have. 5. Good - Just average. 6. Very Good - Better than average. 7. Great - Well above average. 8. Excellent - In a league of its own. 9. Incredible - An all-time favorite. 10. Perfect -

Reviewed July 3, 2020 (edited October 28, 2020)$60; Batch 14; 113.6 Proof; Bottle 361...bottle was opened two weeks ago...tasted neat in a Glencairn...this is damn good MGP juice. Sweet brown sugar, creme brulee, caramel, cherries and perhaps a fleeting touch of mint on the palate....with nice sweet vanilla oak and then lastly, the faintest bit of dryness (maybe char) as the medium to long finish fades away. Makes for an excellent dram.60.0 USD per Bottle -
