Reviewed July 15, 2024 (edited September 19, 2024)Notes of cinnamon candy and caramel appear early on the nose. Also get a scent as I go back that's reminiscent of honey butter. First sip is sweet with notes of caramel and cherry. Taste evolves on mid palate with a dark chocolate note and the buttery note that appeared on the nose. Finishes with some heat and drying notes of pepper and leather that lasts for a medium length.59.99 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 9, 2024 (edited June 10, 2024)NEAT NOSE - Very sweet and fruity on the nose. I get mostly apples and caramel on the nose. PALATE - The nose transfers to the palate with a silky mouthfeel. There is no influence of oak on the palate and it doesn’t come across as grainy which some younger bourbons can tend to do. FINISH - Sweet, Medium BUY? - Yes. This is a nice foray into Missouri Straight Bourbon Whiskey. BUY AGAIN? - Yes, but I’d love to get my hands in the 7 YR when it comes out to see how it compares.50.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed May 10, 2024 (edited June 10, 2024)I really wanted to like this but for the $60 price point i think there are several other products out there that have this beat. Pleasant general oakiness on the nose but sort of thin unremarkable mouth feel. Very sweet punch initially that fades to general oaky, woody finish. I just don’t love the sweetness i get initially oddly enough, it’s an enjoyable pour and I’ll gladly finish the bottle but I was a bit underwhelmed based on the hype this bottle got online. I’m anxious to try the Soft Red Wheat and Rickhouse Proof if i csn ever get my hands on it. -
