BenRiach Curiositas 10 Year

Sweet and peaty. Just average.

A long time favourite of mine, BenRiach 10 Curiositas is fiery on the nose, the highland peat giving it a nice campfiery smell combined with boiled fruit. On the taste, the fire makes way for apple and pear, along with a spikey tonguefeel I really enjoy. The finish isn't terribly long, but what does remain is a fulfilling smoke, like a campfire in the woods.

Torfowa, dymna, ciężka

It's the swamp on a sunny day where the air is still cool.

Nose is dry grass, malt and vanilla, maybe a little apple. Taste is dry spicy and sweet. Peat is veggie and campfire. Not ash and tar. It’s a very well put together, mesh together perfectly. I like a lot, would buy again.

Smoke, fruits, grass and loads of vanilla. Different and nice Peated Whisky
