Tasting Notes
"There is just a mild peat aroma to be found on the nose with the other notes comprising of hearty malt, stone fruits and apples, honeyed toast, and walnuts. The whisky is lightly sweet initially leading to a bittersweet flavor. Again, the peat smoke is just a hint. The whisky hearty on the palate. Barrel and whisky have definitely spent time together and as a result it's a bit chewy with oak tannins, but not unpleasantly so. Could stand to have a longer finish."
