Eagle Rare has been a part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection since it was first released in 2000. Like George T. Stagg, Eagle Rare is also made with a low-rye bourbon recipe.
The Fall 2021 release was distilled in spring 2002 and was matured on the first floor of Warehouse P. It was bottled at 101 proof and released in October 2021. .

Tasting Notes
"Fresh red apple, ripe black cherries, cinnamon, clove and leather meet on the nose. The palate goes rather spicy with dashes of cinnamon, clove and black pepper mingling with cherry cola flavors. The finish is suitably hot, with classic bourbon flavors of toasted breakfast flakes, toasted oak, and a hint of leather. "
