"Some nutmeg-dominant brown spices present themselves on the nose--along with some vanilla and an intimation of pulled taffy. There's some peppery heat on the palate (think cinnamon Red Hots), and some brown sugar sweetness on the finish, but in general this is a much less pushy spiced product than many. And the better for it."
