Grannysmith apple and mesquite on the nose to me. Reminds me of peg leg porker, but if it was stewie griffin’s genetically modified pig; because this thing packs a punch. The TN in it is 13yrs, but idk how much of it is the TN. The heigold in it I’d guess 4-6yrs. So technically it’s not 13. Still, the flavor is on point. Getting it for 50 instead of 150, it’s amazing and a no brainer buy for that price.

Complex and hot but very pleasant. Fruity finish.

Could definitely smell the apple from the apple brandy casks immediately. Overall had an apple, cinnamon and walnut flavor with subtle apple, oak and potentially a hint of pepper. One of the best whiskey’s I have ever had.
