After years of being mothballed, Bladnoch reopened in 2017 and has been a welcome addition to the Scottish Lowlands region since. The Bladnoch 10 Year is the distillery's entry-level expression and has aged in ex-bourbon casks. It's bottled without chill-filtration at 46.7% ABV.

Tasting Notes

"A somewhat waxy and pretty naked single malt, the Bladnoch 10 shows notes of barley, pizza dough and a good amount of apples. The palate is more floral and grassy, pretty much in line with what you'd expect from this distillery and the region it's located in. All the elements are here, it just needs more time to (hopefully) pick up more vibrant fruity notes."
