I’ll be honest, this was good but a bit underwhelming. Highly agree with everyone who says to only get it if it’s cheap. Nose is mostly fruit and caramel with a little alcohol burn, taste is inoffensive with notes of leather and wood, finish is middle of the road with nothing particularly standout.
This is really what I’d consider a standard, almost archetypical bourbon. It doesn’t do anything particularly unique in any way. I like it, I’ll drink it, I’ll buy it if it’s cheap; but I won’t go hunting for it.
