Vanilla and cinnamon all day on the nose but where this bourbon shines is on the palette. Bright and shiny vanilla and lemon iced tea. Actually reminds me a bit of a thicker and slightly more sparkly Van Winkle 15. A bit heavy on the vanilla but such a fantastic bourbon I don't even mind. Finish is long with only vanilla and the faintess hints of black tea. The mouth feel with this puppy is amazing though so you'll hardly want to experience the finish!
Black label served in a snifter
Nose - Vanilla, pastry, oak, butter and orange peel.
Taste - Baking spices, vanilla, tobacco and leather. More sweet than anything else.
Finish - Doesn't sit too long and barely any burn. Very "drinkable" due to the low proof.

No burn, very smooth, velvety, and sweet. Not much going on from a complexity standpoint. Seems like a lot of mixed reviews on this one but must say I liked it very much. This would be the bourbon you keep on hand to entertain others and have one occasionally for yourself. A “crowd pleaser”
