Reviewed December 16, 2021Nose - Classic blantons nose with a huge amount of cherry. A little bit of baking spice, like a cherry pie. A little bit of caramel swirl. Thick vanilla crust. A little bit of oak comes through. Palate - Initially a lot of cherry, vanilla and oak. Then followed by a wave of barrel char and baking spice. Sprinkled with some cinnamon. The mouthfeel is a little thin, but pleasant. Finish - Finish is pretty long for a blantons release, with lingering hints of oak and cherry. The barrel spice still comes through in the finish, but very comfortably. Overall pretty nice!
