Tequila AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least a year in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, but ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Añejo tequilas are also known as "aged" or "extra aged".

"Agave dominates a nose additionally ornamented with traces of wood, white pepper and caramel. The palate exhibits a steel-fist-in-a-velvet-glove kind of perfumy sharpness. There's some wood by way of a little vanilla, and caramel reappears on the dry, spicy finish."
