Blue Note Juke Joint Whiskey Single Barrel Uncut (Greens Farms Spirits) "Blue Steel" Barrel#17970, 62.05 ABV Proof: 124.1, no age statement. Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium-dark amber. Nose: Sweet caramel with apple, apricot, and raisin. Palate: Clove and baking spice on the tip of the tongue, oak tannins on the back. Finish: Medium length with medium heat. Splash: Sweetness from the nose returns, mixing with the clove. Overall: 8.5/10 - This drinks below its proof, but has a little more spice in the palate than I like. This is calmed with a few drops of water. A good bargain for under $50.

Nice strong flavors..drinks warm, which at the proof point is expected, and the heat stays throughout but definitely in a pleasant way..i get some caramel, oak, woodiness, spice, and leather..i love the finish on this one and it's definitely a good value at $45 for a store pick!

I wish i could taste the different flavors like other people posted. When i smell it it clears my sinuses and anlittle nasal burn but also get oak wood smell. Lip butn right up fron hot and heavy. It tones down but lips tingle for several mins. I do get a few flavors of clove and vanilla but also smacks som heat. Im just not good with high proof yet.
