Reviewed December 6, 2022 (edited April 5, 2023)A1 Wine & Spirits Store Pick Barrel # 17510 120.7 Proof Some light vanilla and caramel that quickly goes to lumber (think walking into that part of a big hardware store) and some non-peanut nutshell. Maybe a hint of walnut. Grainy. Flavor starts off like sweet honey and slight caramel. Goes quickly to heat and spice. Cinnamon and hot clove with major tingle on the mid-palate. Fades to oak and some walnut at the back palate. Finish is drying. Oak (think hardware store, not fresh cut) and walnut. -

Reviewed November 30, 2022Barrel 17131 58.75% abv Really grainy from start to end. Sweet and fruity, like strawberry and blueberry. Lots of butterscotch-ey flavor. Long finish that is mainly just hot and spicy. Overall this is ok considering it is only 3 years old. Sweet and fruity, but also young. Value is ok38.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed November 24, 2022 (edited March 12, 2023)Good whiskey… NOT a bourbon… for the price. A little young but more than 3 yrs old. Nose gives the alcohol with subtle dried fruits, vanilla and cinnamon. Palate is sweet up front (definitely the 70% corn in the mash), cherries, oak and a little leather. Finish is solid; burn is good but nothing unpleasant. The sweet corn lingers with the leather, oak and a touch of caramel.44.0 USD per Bottle -
