Reviewed July 15, 2022 (edited July 28, 2022)Took a short hiatus from the drink cause of an unpleasant stint with a sinus infection. Once cured I decided to open one of my newest additions to the cabinet. I haven't had any prior knowledge of this brand, but the bottle/label beckoned me. The nose on this contained an inviting cherry and oak essence. Tasting notes consisted of faint cherry which transitioned to the rye spice and leather I was anticipating. This caused the finish to linger and persist in a pleasant manner. Second pour netted a touch of cinnamon and dusted cocoa on both smell and taste respectively. The 111 proof impressively went unnoticed throughout. I'm definitely looking forward to the next pour. Cheers all 🥃89.99 USD per BottleBottle King -

Reviewed July 15, 2022 (edited October 31, 2022)Thick sweet corn with a little rye in the nose. First sip gives a sharp, nice rye bite with the full sweet corn underneath that finished verrry smoothly. This is one of my top ryes I've tasted. -

Reviewed July 8, 2022 (edited August 5, 2022)Nose: immediately get some of those pepper, fruity, and licorice notes from the rye, with a subtle undercurrent of vanilla - surprisingly muted given the proof Palate: the black pepper hits quick and heavy right away, some of the licorice also carries through from the nose. Further to the back you get some vanilla and baking spices - almost drinks more like a rye than a bourbon Finish: The spice lingers on the fairly long finish, with a nice "Kentucky hug" all the way down your chest, but surprisingly not much burn - very pleasant and would be perfect on a cold night -

Reviewed June 23, 2022 (edited July 30, 2022)Nose is cinnamon, rye spice, rich caramel (melted), oak. Palate follows the nose with cinnamon, rye, caramel, & oak; when the heat of the high proof mellows, it finishes sweet like vanilla cake batter. Body is big and bold and lets you know it’s a high proof bourbon.Paddock & Whisky -

Reviewed June 12, 2022Right off the bat, the nose is straight orange cream, cinnamon, and slight mint. Taste is the proof right off the bat and expands to multiple flavors such as: Orange, cherry. And at the very end, you should taste the rye, which is the subtle spearmint. The lasting taste is oak and leather. Overall great, but it’s unique in flavors. It might not be the best for beginners, but for an experienced bourbon, the drinker will appreciate all the complexity.72.0 USD per Bottle -
