With a nice warm hug that lasts a bit. Second taste, large cube in ricks glass. Really brings out the vanilla. Nice lingering bite.88.0 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More -

Reviewed November 18, 2021 (edited April 13, 2022)We like reviews right? Well tough shit if not, because I really wanted to crack this open. This sexy bottle is the High Rye Bourbon (a favorite of mine as far as the style goes) Nose: Crazy good nose — Yellow cake, stone fruit, vanilla custard, and no sign of ethanol burn. Need this as a candle. Palate: Bright apricots, orange peel, light spearmint, vanilla icing and a touch of baking spice/pepper Finish: Fleeting unfortunately, at the proof point (111) this doesn’t hang around as much as I’d like but it’s probably younger. The apricot/vanilla note is what Irish goodbyes, you just notice those notes walking out the door and smile. Wonderful whiskey. Wouldn’t pay secondary for it. -

Reviewed November 4, 2021 (edited December 10, 2021)Light copper color, nose of corn, toast, spearmint, slight banana. Sweet up front, mellows to caramel, marshmallow, herbal, slight pepper in the finish that is long and lingering. Star anise as well. After a few sips, the chocolate shines through. Leaving an oily feel on the tongue
