Booker's Bourbon Batch 2019-02 "Shiny Barrel Batch"

Nose: caramel, only slight spice after being opened for 5 years Palette: maple syrup up front, marshmallow, vanilla, baking spices creep in, more caramel, slight oak tannins

Really grainy and spicy (not in a desired way)

“Pineapple.” Outer layer of spice surrounding a big, round sweetness

One of the better batches of Booker’s I’ve had in a while. Good stuff at a great price!
