Booker's Bourbon Batch 2020-03 "Pigskin Batch"

Nose is all brown sugar and caramel sweetness. This bourbon it’s extremely hot. Neat it warms your throat down to your stomach with a giant spice and alcohol burn. On the rocks it’s big and rich with burnt brown sugar, vanilla, hints of tobacco with a caramel/toffee sweetness. Drink this on a cold day and you’ll stay warm.

Straight bubble gum. Nose was bubble gum and it tasted the same. Not bad but way different from other batches I’ve had. Not much of the Beam “peanut funk” like Tagalong batch had. Not an $85 buy but if you get a deal on it I’d grab it.

Very HOT bourbon with some burn. Overall a nice pour with caramel and an odd peanut kind of flavor I was not expecting.

Nose of cracked peanut shells. Viscous peanut oil body with a hit of cinnamon. Caramel and rootbeer candy. Barrel spice. Kentucky hug that makes you smile.
