Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-03 "Bardstown Batch"

This SOB is pungent would be the best way to describe the taste , I enjoy barrel proof or uncut so I’m no rookie to high proof and as far as I’m concerned if you need to put ice in your Bourbon you might as well put a nipple on the bottle ya big baby . Anyways this is my second go around with Booker’s , the bottle is super cool but the price is super lame $99 for a 6.5 year Bourbon that unfortunately just isn’t that interesting this one in particular I’ve had it open for 2 weeks and it’s just boring and Pungent as of now I’m done with Booker’s it’s just lame $99 bucks and it’s just not that good it’s fair a straight C but there’s way way more better out there for that price point.

Bits of apple tart, vanilla wafer, and smoked brisket. A velvety dance wafts over the palate with swirling heat and turns to a bit of clove spice and cinnamon candy on the way down

Nose: baking spices like allspice, nutmeg, some Beam yeast funk, a little boozy ethanol, char, white smoke, grape soda, root beer, mixed cocktail nuts. Palate: brown sugar, salted caramel, some fresh dark red fruit, roasted peanuts. Finish: fruit hard candies, green melon, mixed cocktail nuts, a little citrus rind, char. If you like Beam products, you’ll love this. It also drinks surprisingly smooth given the proof. Good stuff.
