What surprised me the most in a blind flight was that J. W. Red was not at the bottom of the list, and wasn’t obviously a stand out from the pack. It stood up to the Green very well.

A slight step up from J. W. Red, but IDK, also has a kinda off note that isn’t great. It’s fine.

Honestly kinda meh.

Surprising. Nose of honey, taste matches. Very interesting, and significantly different from other J. W. in the lineup.

Part of a Johnnie Walker blind tasting. Honestly surprised how mild a showing this had. Not actually worth three times the price of the Red.

Lots of dusty hay, it’s soft, a little sweet, and grainy. It really is like distilling the sensation of standing in a ripe wheat field, the smells, even the taste on the air. A pleasant whiskey. 79/100
