Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-04 "Noe Strangers Batch"

Nose peanut buttery vanilla Taste: sweet, nut, smooth rich. Quintessential beam. Beam at its peak

This specific variant of Booker’s gave me those classic beam notes of peanuts, deep oak, leather, tobacco, and a deep burn. The tannins in the bottle are very present. If you love heavy oak then this is the bottle for you. The finish is a tad bit astringent, but it does linger for quite some time.

Color: Dark Amber Nose: Dusty rickhouse, caramel, peanut brittle, ethanol (after tasting - a touch of grape jelly and a touch of floral in the background) Taste: Nutty, creamy, baking spices and moderately oily mouthfeel Finish: Creamy semi sweet finish with med length cinnamon to close it out Solid dram that opens up in the glass offering more sweet vanilla, confectionary sugar, and nuts.
