Booker's Bourbon

Tasted neat at first. Straight heat w/ leather/oak finish. Ended up throwing a medium cube in to let it cool down a bit and and it brought out some cherry and lighter caramel on the palate. Finish has heat regardless :) Tasted again a few weeks later (10/26) with a large cube and wow did this open up; it was straight brown sugar. End was kind of like peanut butter. Phenomenal.

SO STRONG! 124 proof. Lot’s of tasty flavors, but you need a lot of ice to enjoy it. Relatively smooth and it builds in flavor with a nice little sweet heat at the end

The leather and fruit come through the most for me. Long finish but not overly hot considering proof. Not my favorite cask strength but it’s a pioneer

Too spicy, too pricey.

Pre-Distiller tasting. Bar pour with a big rock. Leather, oak, and vanilla all they way through to a very long finish. Caramel on entry goes through burn to spice and dark cherry.
