Released as part of the Vintner's Trilogy in October 2017, this 18 year-old single malt matures in two types of casks. For the first 13 years, it ages in ex-bourbon barrels. The whisky is then transferred to former ex-manzanilla sherry casks for the remaining 5 years.
The whisky was warehoused entirely in Bowmore's No. 1 Vaults. Bottled at 52.

Tasting Notes
"This is an intensely flavorful dram from Bowmore. It's rich and peaty, with just a little bit of treacle and hazelnut, and a very pleasing maritime saltiness. Have no fear that the sherry casks will overwhelm the whisky; it offers the peat smoke Bowmore's fans have come to expect, and at a satisfyingly high proof. Islay drinkers won't want to pass this it up."
