Reviewed January 19, 2021 (edited April 8, 2021)GLASS: Glencairn Whiskey Glass NOSE: Apple pie by a campfire. PALATE: Smoky salinity leads off with a balanced sweetness following. The flavor remains savory, never cloying. Very elegant and restrained. CONCLUSION: If Isabella Rossalini were a drink. Elegant and always intriguing. -

Reviewed November 5, 2020This is such a good representation of a scotch, slightly peated, a tad sweet and a great after taste. It's only shortfall is not having "complex" notes on the palate but it's otherwise a solid option when you need just a scotch100.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed November 5, 2020Smooth from start to finish with a slight harshness on the very tail end. Immediately sweet and then a medium smoky flavor to top it off with the bourbon coming in for the aftertaste. Very smooth, very smoky, extremely well put together. -

Reviewed October 21, 2020Smoke on the nose. Sherry on the back. It’s relatively smooth. I don’t know if the combo of peat and sherry is the best but if you’re going to do it, this isn’t bad -

Reviewed September 23, 2020 (edited March 25, 2021)Nose: Peat, salt/ brine, sweet toffee Palate: Light peat, salt and pepper, slightly vegetal. Very sweet with a few wispy delicate dried fruity notes Finish: Short finish. Heavy on the sherry It’s not a bad dram. The nose is somewhat better than the palate, it promises to be a great sweet, peaty whisky but it seems to lose many of the interesting layers.6.5 GBP per ShotArdnamurchan Scottish Restaurant & Bar
