Reviewed May 19, 2025 (edited July 31, 2025)Tasted on various occasions, once buying a 0.5L bottle for 22 euros or so, and subsequently a 1L bottle for 40 euros. Nose - Alcohol, oak-forward, with mild drier fruit, some spice and honey. Taste - Dry oaky woodiness, with some spice, dried fruit (same as on the nose), a bit of honey and vanilla, without a very creamy / oily mouthfeel. Finish - Short-medium, dry, slightly tannic. I find the oaky dryness and lack of sweetness to be slightly one-dimensional, lacking depth. For example the Remy Martin VSOP (higher price) has a much more complex and approachable flavour, sharing similarities to the Braastad VSOP, but with additional sweetness and creaminess.40.0 EUR per Bottle -

Reviewed November 24, 2024A rich, Brandy by Master Blender Richard Braastad in Cognac, France made with estate-grown grapes from the Fin Bois & Grand Champagne regions. It has an aromatic birth with notes of tree fruits, dried fruits, herbs & spices; while a mild & rich life adds notes of apple, pear & green pepper; that led to a fruity finish with notes of pepper, chocolate, oak & vanilla.
