It was distilled at one distillery (MGPI in Indiana), in one distilling season and was aged a minimum of 7 years which is three years longer than is required. Made with a high-rye three grain bourbon mash bill of 51% corn, 39% rye, and 10% malted barley which is a first for the brand.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma has a mild intensity, but you'll find some vanilla, toasted nuts and a gentle char smoke. As you taste, the flavors intensify with a good balance of sweet and spicy. Some caramel, milk chocolate, dark cherries and vanilla cream are found with a streak of barrel spices running down the middle. A little peppery at the end, but very drinkable if served neat. It's a little slick on the palate and there's some young tasting corn flavors here and there. The finish is bittersweet and warming with the rye flavors standing out at the end. Would serve with a big rock or in an Old Fashioned cocktail."
