Reviewed December 27, 2016 (edited November 1, 2019)The new 1888 (the 2018 bottles with the netting) is very disappointing. The older style was much better. Much more caramel and sweetness like the Siglo. The new 1888 is a much darker rum. It's also a lot harsher. I hope for a return to the old ways of Brugal.
