Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie

Unique! Bright, strong, green apple, sour fruit, so good. It burns more than usual. From Islay but nothing like what you would think. Slight peatiness on the swallow, but it is overpowered by the granny smith.

Très "dans le style" des Bruichladdich. Fumé sans le peat, c'est plaisant. Bonne odeur iodée, bord de mer. Belle petite présence d'alcool, suoer plaisant. Pourrait facilement être une bouteille go-to.

A smooth young non-peated islay whisky!?!?!? Unheard of until I tried the classic laddie. The vanilla is strong with some tangy end notes that give it some depth compared to the other non-peated greats. Great job by Adam Hannett, carrying the McEwan torch.
