Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie

If it was possible to bottle the smell of wild flowers and barley, I believe these guys achieved it! One of the best tasting whiskies I have ever tasted. The nose was filled with wild flowers and the spirit of Islay. Bourbon on the palette was complemented with a strong finish of barley. I hate the bottle but fell in love with the whisky.

Price : $60.00 Sampled 9/10/15 with 2.75 teaspoons of water in a Glencairn spirits nosing glass. Aroma - Light brine, vanilla, lightly vegetal and herbal. Taste - Salt, almond, celery, cereal, wood sap, glue, fennel and herbal. Finishes with a medium lingering flavor and burn. Final score : 4 / 5, not for inexperienced drinkers. Would buy again.
