Not a pleasant aroma, however the taste is far superior. I enjoyed this better on some ice, and is one I would contemplate keeping in the cabinet to have something different on hand. This was part of a Flaviar tasting box.

Classic scotch flavours. Malty vanilla and rich flavours, benefitted by a single cube of ice to loosen the spirit

Straight forward Scotch experience. Complex malt flavour with an oily mouth feel

Too young to be good, some burn and too malty. But a much older version of this preferably at cask strength might be amazing, an orchard fruit salad a la balvenie tun. Is that why peeps go bananas for black art? Is that a cheaper version of tun?
