On the nose, mostly notes of vanilla and malted barley. On the palate, the barley shines through over the salty, briny note which is remeniscent of smoked bacon. The finish is oily with the vanilla and brine. It's an unpeated Islay, but still an Islay.

Bright golden, viscous. Aroma is floral at first then apples, pearls, honey, vanilla, hazelnuts, tobacco.
Taste is caramelized apples and nuts, a hint of salt and minerals.
Finishes as a peated salty caramel biscuit.
