RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma has a gentle cinnamon spice, toasted oak, butterscotch and a touch of dark cherries. Char smoke is moderate. It's fairly full and oily upon first taste and has a bittersweet and hearty rye grain flavor. As you finish tasting, the whiskey is more dry and bitter than bittersweet and it has a bit of an herbal (mix of dried and fresh green) profile. Finish is a bit short. Would suggest this to be mixed rather than a sipper, but would also be fine to drink on the rocks. "
