Reviewed July 28, 2025 (edited August 3, 2025)Review #245 Received a sample from a friend. Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Dark amber. Very promising. Nose: Root beer with apple and dark fruit notes. Palate: Thick mouthfeel with cinnamon, baking spice, and some oak tannins. Finish: Medium length with medium heat. Splash: No new flavors are revealed. Overall: 7/10 - The color and nose got my hopes up. This is good bourbon from a craft distillery, but it doesn't do anything to distinguish itself from other good bourbon from other craft distilleries. I'm interested to try other espressions from Bully Boy in the future. -

Reviewed July 14, 2024Nose smells like the glass is full of dry wheat or barley. Super strong, quite nice. Flavor is a huge hit of the nose, dry wheat to the point of bitterness. Earthy, woody, medium thin body, like chewing on a wheat field. Much better than their American whiskey, but a little off balance to be super enjoyable.Bully Boy Distillers
