Bulrush Gin
Bulrush Gin is named for the wetland sedge plant native to South Carolina, where the distillery is located. It's made with 12 botanicals sourced from around the globe, including three kinds of orange peel, coriander, angelica, lavender, ginger and, of course, juniper.
The gin is infused twice with the botanicals: once in a maceration with neutral wheat spirit prior to pot-distillation and again through vapor infusion following distillation. It's bottled in batches of 500 at 44% ABV.

Distilled GinThis style of gin takes a neutral spirit and then adds juniper berries and other natural flavorings before it is re-distilled. After distillation, additional flavors (artificial or natural) and sweeteners may be added.
Tasting Notes
"There's a lovely sweet, floral note to the nose, including a touch of lavender that doesn't overpower aromas of sweet orange and coriander. Flavorwise, this is a powerful gin, with a nice depth and warmth. Notes of orange zest, cinnamon spice and juniper fade to a pleasant bitter earthiness. This would shine topped with tonic water or mixed into a Martini and garnished with a lemon twist."
