Bunnahabhain 12 Year

Creamy mouthfeel with salt.

Butterscotch, toffee, and apple juice on the nose. Taste has a bit of saltiness to it, with a tiny sourness on the aftertaste. Would never have guessed this was from Islay. Would buy, and makes me want to explore more of their range.

Tasted a many-years-old dusty bottle that had been hiding in the back of a friend's cabinet. Old, as in marked as 40% ABV old - I wonder when that changed. I’m anxious to try the newer version.
