Bunnahabhain 2008 Mòine Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Matured

Incredibly strong barbeque smoke aroma, much more mesquite than peat. Flavor is much better and more complex. Huge wood kick followed by tangy wine sweetness. Like peppered bacon. Barbeque smoke on the tail, powerful and unique.

Very nice drink, agressive heat like a runaway bonfire engulfs the mouth followed by a smooth lingering taste. Lovely toffee notes with cinnamon and a playful taste that makes you grateful for the small things in life.

I really liked it. Despite its 9 yo very complex,rich taste and nose. Medium smokey,bonfire,sweet red berries,chocolate,nuts. Creamy medium to long finish. Delicious.
