Heerlijke volle smaak

Caramel vanilla hints. Must be from a cherry cask. Very rich and the taste holds for a while after you drink it in the back of the mouth/throat. The bottle colour is annoying as you can hardly see what's left unless you shine a light at it.

Very nice scotch. Smokey and a little sweet. Hints of caramel on the nose and sea breeze on the nose. Honey and sea salt on the palate with a Smokey finish that has hints of chillis. All around a very good scotch with plenty of smoke throughout but not overwhelming.

At the beginning of the bottle I was enjoying the dried or leathery fruits, bit of caramel, almonds, and some pepper spice. Now, I really get more oil and salt. Almost a seaweed or fish saltiness. Interesting. I wonder how the bottle will finish. This is good. I prefer the 12, but this is very good.

very tasty nose with caramels ans sweet spice notes. smooth on the tongue.

Nose: light smoke and breezy brine, raisins, tropical fruit. Palate: oily, maritime, seaweed, dark chocolate, warm spices. Finish: oak spice, wood, butter citrus peel. This one is yummy, but not very memorable.
